The reasons for Soros spending money on the NFL is no different than him blowing unholy amounts of money on Hollywood folk ... propaganda.
People put actors/actresses/athletes up on ridiculous pedestals. The socialist thinks that if they can make it seem like the mainstream feels that socialism is the key to peace and prosperity, then the “common man” that tunes into this nonsense weekly will start to “see the light” since famous people can do no wrong. It worked well with Hollywood. It actually worked with the NFL for a while.
If people that are addicted to the games start tuning back in, it’ll be all for naught. However, if the numbers continue to erode and people stay away, we can then start laughing at Soros for blowing money on a wild goose chase.
