Never experienced lake-effect snow.
worst I’ve been in is 22 inches in 8 hours in NC back in 1998.
I still like it though.

Lake effect snow is like a gigantic container of snow exploded. I live two blocks from Lake Michigan. It is something to see if you can stay home and watch it, but it’s the devil’s own work if you’re on the road.
