Because of the Islamic practice of Taqiyya, under which an Islamist has religious blessings to lie to hide his real intentions, no informed Christian church would ever allow a ‘former’ Islamist to be a pastor.
To do so is inviting someone who very well may be representing Satan to preach from the pulpit under the guise of Christianity.
I disagree. I have heard and read of many cases where Muslims are converted by dreams/visions usually meeting the Christ in the dreams. They leave their families, former lives and risk martyrdom due to the conversions. The main way Christianity is spreading in some of the Muslim countries is through the dreams and visions. St. Paul was converted thus. So was Ravi Zacharias.
