Yes, "Bosch" is an excellent series on Amazon Prime. I've watched since it premiered two seasons ago and am awaiting the next one.

Gazooks-- I wish they still did 39 episodes for each season like they did back in my day. Yet that brings up the following dilemma even more--

I just hope that the series keeps up the quality of its plot line and characters so that I do not lose my suspension of disbelief. That 'suspension of disbelief' is how we are able to enjoy most fiction because in true reality, what happens in films and TV is not reality in any way, fashion or form. Sadly, that happens often with any series that runs more than a season or two, they start leaping the shark.

"Breaking Bad" was one example as over 5 seasons and 62 episodes the viewer was continually given a Walter White that always managed to keep one step ahead of whatever MacGuffin he was faced with-- No matter how remarkable the results of his super smarts, random luck or chance happenstance that saves Walter to carry on, it starts to chip away at the believing what you see could actually happen.

CGI has ruined most 'action flicks' for me as most movie makers use it instead of good character and/or plot. The CGI gore or action sequences becomes the only reason for the film being made because the producer expect that 9 to 17 year old boys will pay and pay and pay to come back over and over again to see it.

Sorry, did not mean to get onto my soapbox--

When I do, I recall back in the early 1960s when I was in my teens one of my parents' good friends was actually a rocket scientist working with NASA on the Apollo Program's Saturn V moon rocket. If you asked him, "What's the time?" he'd tell you how to build a watch.

Love & miss ya, Dick Reel! Wish you were around to make the day go by better--

I couldn't agree more, Bender2.

I’m a fan of “Bosch” as well. Titus Welliver one of those skilled “that guy” actors finally given a lead role.

“...take away a right...”

No one can “take away” your right.

They can illegally infringe on it; they can try to coerce you with force, etc. They can try and make everything you hold dear and sacred illegal.

But at the end of the day it is a CHOICE; and it is your choice to make; You either choose to comply, or you choose to resist - by any means necessary, and with all that that entails.

A French Resistance writer once said “War is less costly than servitude. In the end, the choice is always between Verdun... and Dachau.”

I agree with him.

Hundreds of thousands of American people did NOTHING illegal with their firearms today. They did NOTHING illegal yesterday, or the day before that.

ONE psychotic idiot - who may or may not have been part of something larger and more insidious on the part of a certain political party - caused carnage and chaos.

And that same political party - on cue, like it was pre-scripted and waiting in a filing cabinet - come screaming to every camera and mic they can find to launch into an attack on our Constitutional right.

So we’ll hear about repealing the 2nd Amendment, banning this, banning that, etc., etc, blah blah blah. All the talking heads who know exactly DICK about guns are suddenly experts on full auto, semi auto, bump stocks, suppressors...

At the end of the day, if we are to call ourselves Free Men, we damn well better ACT like Free Men and put these jackasses back in their place.

They are Public Servants. They exist and are employed at OUR pleasure. Not the other way around.

If they want Verdun, well... I’ll leave that hanging there. Because we sure as HELL won’t let them have Dachau.
