no such thing. the dead are dead (until Christ’s return)and the devil has the ability to create illusions to trick you into believing something that’s not true.
I haven’t seen one, but I had an experience one night (public place, with friends who shared the experience) that left no doubt that “something” was playing games with us. There was no other logical explanation.
Isn't it more noises, doors opening and closing, lights turning on and off, appliances starting up by themselves, changes in temperature, moving objects, strange smells, feelings of being touched?
(In other words, Saturday night at my place)
Isn't what people see at most unexpected and unexplained shadows or lights?
I have a ghost story and it’s verified. I’ll write it later, dinner about to hit the table.
I’m what you call a reserved skeptic, but as a home inspector I’ve had a couple of unexplainable events...
In one house, I was looking at a microwave door when I saw a “shape” walk behind me. Khaki pants, white shirt, everthing else blurred/not describable. I turned around and looked into the greatroom behind me and no one was there. I turned back around just in time to see the shape walk back the other way....and again no one else in the house when I turned around.
Another house....parallel hallways to the back of the house with a connecting hallway at the back. When I was in one hallway, distinctly heard footsteps traveling down the other. Thinking I’d meet my client at the intersection of the connecting hallway, I turned the corner to find absolutely no one there. This happened 3 times. A couple other odd occurrences happened while I was there. 6 months later, I get called back to inspect the same house. The mother of the buyer met me there and took off walking around for about 5 minutes. She came back to where I was working and asked me point blank if I thought the house was haunted. Being outside the scope of my inspection I said no, but I’m sure the look on my face when she asked told her everything she needed to know......
Don’t believe in ghosts but have seen and experienced something that shouldn’t have been there.
Several hundred people attend a paranormal conference to discuss UFOs, ghosts, and unexplained phenomenon.
The featured speaker asks the audience how many believe in ghosts. Almost all the hands are raised.
He asks how many have seen a ghost. About 20% of the hands are raised.
He then asks how many have had sex with a ghost. One guy way in the back of the room, who is wearing Muslim attire, raises his hand. The speaker is amazed. “Sir, stand up please. You claim to have had sex with a ghost?” The guy, “Oh, never mind. I thought you said a goat.”
I have never seen a ghost but there have been so any accounts by those who say they have that I am not about to discount them all. Also, the strange recordings of intelligible human voices at purportedly haunted sites lend credence to the possibility of another plane of existence.
yes!!!
I come home and the house reeks of cigarette smoke. I haven’t smoked in YEARS..... hubby never did.
it’s not wires, lol. I know the difference.
have lived here 20 years.... doesn’t happen all that often, but often enough for me to say hmmm.....
Sounds like you’d really enjoy a book I recently read. It is “Phenomena: The Secret History of the U.S. Government’s Investigations into Extrasensory Perception and Psychokinesis”. You’ll be surprised some of what was uncovered.
Not sure.
But have had some extremely difficult happenings after people have died. Most happened with witnesses. I really didn’t believe in such things until they kept happening.
Had a recent event about three months ago. Again, related to a death.
I never tell people I know about them as getting laughed at isn’t my idea of a good time. But they happened.
I’m not into the occult and that type of thing. But there is
certainly something else out there.
I hope you take a look at this thread from a nursing web site. The largest of it’s kind with tons of interesting threads about nursing. But this thread is a place for nurses to relate unexplained stories related to ghosts that have happened in hospitals.
These are just average every day people from all over. The stories are not complicated but many of them really are fascinating and can not be explained.
There are 98 pages of stories here and growing. Appears to be a very common thing at hospitals.

I saw a legion of them walk into a polling place and request Democrat ballots.
Yes, what is strange is I was thing about this about an hour ago. Building the Ren Cen in Detroit in 1976, I unlocked the plywood door to our set up at around 10 minutes to eight in the morning. Joe Cashman was sitting at the table with a cup of coffee and smiling at me. I just unlocked the door that was padlocked. I closed my eyes and reopened them and he was gone. Weird. 10 minutes later our foreman walked in and announced that Joe was killed in a traffic accident on the way home last night. He didn’t know where he was supposed to go?
Want to contact some ghosts? Go to the Viet Nam War Memorial in Washington DC...Your skin will crawl.
Lived with one for about 2 years. It was a surreal experience and not one I’d like to repeat.
Hang on there, dude.
Ghost Day isn’t until the 31st.
And then it’s Christmas.
That’s awesome. A keeper.
I’ve been witness to several incidents where a presence was there, and has given a message through objects. So I know there’s something beyond this life. What that is, we’ll all find out.
