U.S. prosecutors unveiled charges against 10 coaches, managers, financial advisers and representatives of a sportswear company, accusing them of bribery, fraud and corruption in recruitment in college basketball.
Federal prosecutors in Manhattan said Tuesday the charges followed a two-year investigation into criminal influence in NCAA basketball. Among those charged are four coaches, who are accused of steering players to advisers who had paid bribes to the coaches.
The defendants include coaches at top U.S. college basketball programs, one agent, one financial adviser and a former referee. The coaches are Lamont Evans, an assistant at Oklahoma State University, Emanuel Richardson, an assistant for the Arizona Wildcats, and Chuck Person, associate head coach at Auburn University.
The charges include bribery, conspiracy and fraud. A key part of the case includes allegations that an executive at a global apparel company bribed students to attend universities where the company sponsored athletic programs.

WOW!! I remember what an amazing player he was.
The older I get the more evident it becomes how ignorant it is to elevate people who play games with balls.
Auburn again.
Guess college is easier than Hillary, Huma, Lois, or Loretta, eh boys?
I agree.
That is something I do agree with the protesters about.
Pushing a kid through college just to play ball is foolish at best.

Exactly my thought. Southern District of NY. Is that not the same district where the Weiner was prosecuted yet no info was ever made public about the e mails on his PC that came from Hitlery via his supposed wife? I am sure that if the prosecutors had explained to him in graphic detail how possible Arkancide would be better than being in the joint with a child sex tag on him, he would have given up everything.
The Rifleman!
When will Crooked Hillary be arrested?
You and me both. Well said.
Did she go to Auburn?
Grown men chasing and throwing balls become heroes. When you think about it, how does that even make sense?
It cause they do it much better than most of us....but it really is a gift...(they work hard to hone it) but
we should celebrate the gift giver and give the athletes credit...but adulation...and big money.....no.....
We know the origin dates of each of those games with balls. The earth has existed from creation without those games except for the last 150 years or so.
