Each one of them has the right and the ability to say what they would like to say, and act the way they would like to act, Popovich said. They have our full support. No matter what they might want to do or not do. It is important to them to be respected by us, and there is no recrimination no matter what might take place unless its ridiculously egregious.
Uhm, demonstrably not true ...nice try liar...
To this, I reply with a quote sometimes attributed to Oliver Wendall Holmes.
"Your right to swing your fist ends where my nose begins."
The players have the right to act in the manner they have chosen, however, they have misjudged where the tip of my nose is located. My "nose" includes respect for my country and its symbols, both flag and anthem. If you bend my nose, I will surely break yours, metaphorically speaking, and the swinging of my own fist is economic in nature. No more NFL or its advertised products for me. This includes the NFL's mainstay advertisers: Visa Inc., Ford Motor Co., Nike Inc., Anheuser-Busch InBev, Microsoft Corp., McDonalds Corp., PepsiCo Inc. and Bridgestone Corp. Damned shame, because I like a Pepsi on ice now and again.
