I’d stop watching the NBA, except I already did.

Each one of them has the right and the ability to say what they would like to say, and act the way they would like to act, Lord of the Flies.
Yea, that's gonna work out well.

I’ll bet if all these liberal a-holes were faced with players doing demonstrations for “conservative” issues the response would have been completely different. Try to imagine that 100+ NFL players were doing on-field demonstrations to protest abortions, or to demand protection of gun ownership rights.
All these pompous clowns like Popovich would be busy proclaiming that sports should be kept free of politics etc.

My employer would never allow me to inject politics or religion into the workplace. And that is the case even when customers are not present.
If I pulled something like this in the presence of a customer, I would be invited to clean out my desk the next day.
The sports franchises need to keep their employees under control!

Not even a chance. The world population is watching to see if common Americans can win over the global communists. Throughout the world people are losing freedom and civil rights, this is our time to beat back global communism or the Cowboys will be a soccer team!

Way to shoot-off your mouth, Gregg. You just happen to work in a city that is home to several military bases. What a putz.

I did a search for Popovich on twitter sorted by latest first and every comment is prop-Pop. Every single one. Not a single anit-Pop comment. Lots of Pop for President posts, too. I guess conservatives don’t care about bball.

He’s a great coach. No doubt.
He’s also a leftie. I’ve been ignoring his off court statements for years. No big deal.

The NBA season is about to start - should be interesting to see if the fans react the same way as the NFL fans.
I think the players, the coaches and the league will be even more supportive of the protests since the NBA is blacker than the NFL.
