“condemning the flag that gives you your right to free speech means you condemn the right to freely speak”

Based on this basic point, the kneelers are not thinking very carefully.

Must be related to the success of public schools in teaching students how to avoid thinking.

Trump is right of course on the issue. But I don’t care if the NFL wants to burn flags before the games. As far as I’m concerned, they are dead to me just like the left.

Just boycott them and their sponsors wherever possible. NFL is hardly a necessity. I would really like to see this work than trying to convince the NFL via various augments.

Kneeling doesn’t help anyone.

The NFL should donate all of this year’s tv revenues to the NAACP.

In a show of solidarity, the tv networks should match this donation.

Money talks, bullshit kneels.

Displaying a Confederate flag can also be an “expression of speech”

Or a decal . . . or a “white nationalist” website You get the message.

And yeah, go ask Berkeley about “free speech” In fact, almost any college or U. Ask Mizzou about the effects of pandering and denial of speech or association.

Funny how freedom of speech in the work place is OK when its politically correct.

But not so much when you ask who's paying for the train... the train that goes to the stadium...the stadium by the brewery... the brewery owned by the governor... the governor whose crony friends own the Bank... the collectively-owned Bank that sponsors the "pride" parade - and makes $$$ financing the construction of... everything along those tracks.

Yep.

The flag does not give anyone anything. The Constitution does. The flag is a symbol of so many things in America. We rally to the flag because it is the symbol to the rights, duties and privileges given to us by our Constitution. The Flag of the United States of America does not give anyone a right, privilege, duty or responsibility for it is the name of the flag we protect those rights. The flag is a symbol of all the bad and all of the good America represents just like our names is the representation of that we are, both good and bad and everything in between. The flag is the call to action and it is the last to die on the field of battle. Once more we have been called to protect her for she has stood vigilant to allow us to exercise our rights beneath her banner. While she does not gives us anything it is our duty and solemness to make sure as a representative symbol of our founding documents, the Constitution, the US Government, its people and the land from sea to shining sea, that we take it upon ourselves to make sure she is defended from all foreign and domestic enemies.

Flag doesn’t give rights. Rights are God given.

“Taking a knee” during private employment and in front of customers who are insulted thereby, is not “free speech”

It is out and out STUPID BUSINESS . . . and for which the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT
