Nonononono, DDT is baaaad!
The US only sprayed DDT all over the populations of Boston and New York and others in the 1950s. Nobody was killed, but DDT is now considered FAR too dangerous for Africa to even consider using. Africa would rather lose hundreds of thousands of lives per year than to do what major American cities did to solve the problem.
Liberal insanity (Rachel Carson, Silent Spring) always costs lives.
