That you can put on a smiling face in order to facilitate a sale, or work around the clock in order to deliver a good/service to the satisfaction of a paying customer, is one of the hallmarks of capitalism. That is, if everyone focuses on their own self interest - absent force or fraud - then efficiency and order will result.
The NFL has always been an entertainment enterprise. To the extent they put an excellent product on the table is why they became so popular. But, as the Greek tragedies depicted thousands of years ago, ego & hubris fell even the giants.
Once the mask is torn off, the true face is there for all to see: a manipulative, greedy, debauched, anti-family, anti-American, entertainment vehicle identical to their Hollywood brethren.
Levi stadium reportedly has some very good grub ( bring tons of $$). Do go to Santa Maria for their local BBQ , too!!

Social justice wasn't emphasized to improve the product offering, but rather it was a device to (hopefully) expand into new market segments.
50% market share wasn't enough for some; no, they wanted to go whole hog. But in so doing, they made the mistake of alienating their existing 50%. Even worse, what the NFL is finding out (the hard way), is not only do the new 50% not really care, but they certainly won't go if the baseline 50% is actively pissed off and boycotting the program.
As usual, the San Francisco Comical has it wrong again. The game starts at 5:30 p.m. local time. So people attempting to get to the stadium will have the privilege of dealing with the commuter traffic in the Silicon Valley, where Levi's folly is located.
It will be interesting to see how many people show up as empty seats tonight.
I’ll be watching cross-country skiing, figure skating, or the farm report instead.
