Kaepernick is to the NFL as Hillary is to the Democrats.

HA. Those two hanger-oners are totally destroying the NFL and the Democrat Party. Carry on Losers...you are doing a great job :)

Baseball needs to adopt a period of no longer than 12 seconds between pitches; a maximum of five foul balls before striking out; a ball called on a pitcher who steps off the rubber, and a strike against a batter who removes both feet from the box...

Also, pitching changes taking over one minute result in an awarded base to the batting team...this won’t make the game better, per se, but at least it might make it watcheable; there aren’t many sports more boring than soccer, but baseball steps up to the plate...

Fine. Let's make the NFL racially equal. 73% white, 13% black, 5% Asian, 9% remainder.

Note: Hispanic most likely included in white and remainder, but you get the idea.

And they will get it, because Goodell is even more Jell-O Spined than Mitch McConnell.

If Goodell goes for this, he is effectively saying that the purpose of the NFL is to promote and/or protect these “human rights” causes. They will lose money at such a rapid rate, he won’t know what happened.

If I had an authoritative voice at the NFL, I would answer the letter of the NFL players seeking support for “racial equality” advocacy and similar “awareness” advocacy efforts, that charities such as breast cancer awareness and recognizing the nation’s military are non-political support, not political advocacy. I would add that NFL players are not prohibited, in their own and on their own time, organizing fellow NFL players for any other cause they choose, but, to the extent that they are political, controversial and not honored by all NFL players, the NFL would not get involved.

Attn: NFL Team Owners

Subj: You make too much money

We need to do stupid, self-defeating things to drive down both out box office and TV royalties. We need to convince a lot of football fans that our sport is more annoying than entertaining.

On the plus side, there will be far fewer concussions and other injuries to players. And with our revenues plummeting, we won’t need to pay them as much.

Dare to be Stupid.

Yrs,
Roger Goodell
Yeah, you voted for me for Commissioner

Barely able to tolerate the NFL allowing anything other than full attention / hand on heart during the National Anthem.

Life long fan here, but if the NFL goes as far as actually endorsing this... I’ll easily find better things to do on Sunday.

If there was racial equality in the NFL then half the players would be white!

The NFL needs to impose weight limits and size diversity.

Dear NFL: We just want to watch a football game....NOT political messages.

The NFL should reflect the population of the country. No more than 13% Black. We wouldn’t have a problem with “social justice.”

Kaepernick is to the NFL as Hillary is to the Democrats.

This ceased to be about Kaepernick when the NFL didn't put a stop to his BS from the start and instead allowed more players to join. Kaepernick is a non-factor now and no longer even in the NFL. It has become obvious to me that most of the black NFL players share the beliefs and attitudes of BLM. NFL players are not necessarily bright guys, so all the comments like "do they realize how much money this will cost them?" are a waste of time. No, they don't realize it because they can't think that far.

I truly find baseball an exciting game, but i understand folks wanting more action. In my mind, the only sport with continuous action is basketball. I’ve often wondered if the nba wouldn’t be wise to spawn a new 6’5” and under league.

Football, on average scores only 6 times per game. In baseball that would be a 3-3 game. Same in soccer. Most of football is time between plays. Most of those plays are no different than a pitcher and batter dueling. I like a batter wearing a oitcher down with multiple fouls. If anything, I’d reward the batter with a base and not the pitcher with an out. I guess you could have a possession arrow like basketball uses and alternate.
