I’m pro-Trump, and I don’t think he has “betrayed” us or broken any promises. But I do have an honest question.

What is the difference between “letting them stay” and giving them amnesty or citizenship? If you “let them stay” then they will continue to get all of the many benefits they get (free education, etc.) and we even have places pondering resolutions to let them vote.

What is the difference?

Letting them stay is amnesty.
Rewarding illegal aliens by allowing them to stay gets us more illegal aliens.
The 1986 amnesty was sold as being less than a million, that turned into 3.5 million.
Now we have 10 times that number of illegal aliens.
The 11 million they have been using for 15 years is more like 30 million +

Trump has said that they won't receive citizenship.

And they don't need amnesty since they didn't break any law, their parents did.
