Don't see the Cubs getting past the Dodgers this year. i don't see the Cubs getting past the Nationals -- assuming the Cubs hold on in the NL Central.
The Nats are well stocked and the Dodgers are faltering. There is only a four game difference for the NL's best record.

That’s impressive. Pro hockey used to have ties, so they measured their streaks as “unbeaten streaks” and not just winning streaks. The 1979-80 Philadelphia Flyers went 35 straight games without a loss over a period of about 3 months.
