My ROKU is the only thing connected to my TV any more.

There is more free content than you could possibly ever watch.

“for” should be “on”

I’ve got older models, so I have to wait until they release it for the ones I have.

Unfortunately some of those free channels have almost as many commercials as broadcast tv.

I dropped Hulu after they kept increasing the number of commercials. At first it was only a couple per hour show. Then 4. Then more. I don’t want to pay for commercial TV. Why people are paying for cable at all when all the channels are commercial I don’t know.

I hope they set it up better than some of the existing ad-supported movie/series websites.

I have tried several — including Hulu, Crackle, etc. About half-way through a movie, the service would stall. Most times, I had to reload the webpage, relocate the movie, and try to move to about the location where the stall occurred. The service would then play 8 to 10 ads — and stall out again.

The exasperation wasn’t worth the effort. I deleted links to most of the ad-supported services.
