Ping!.................
Who would want an electric Jag?
Someone with lots of money and no place to go.................
Idiotic.
I don’t recall any recent breakthroughs in battery technology that would be behind this, so I suspect looming US dominance in oil has something to do with all the Eurons diving into electric vehicles prematurely by legislative fiat. And, I’m honestly not opposed to electric vehicles, I think they’re great if they fit your needs and circumstance. But they don’t fit everybody’s need and circumstance, so forcing the issue is going to create problems.
So they are assuming that battery tech will improve at a vastly better than it ever has. Lol!

That was my dream car as a teen!...................
Yep, they are headed for the grave yard....................
Over reaction to the global climate cabal. A Jaguar without a resonating set of exhaust pipes is not a Jaguar.

Volkswagen, Volvo and Jaguar Make Gay Drive
by Michael Wilke
Long known as a conservative industry, car makers are slowly driving into the gay market, with Volkswagen, Volvo and Jaguar recently parking themselves in gay media.
Can I ask a stupid question???
Where is the electricity to recharge all of these electric cars going to come from?
I know liberals think you just plug in an electrical cord into an outlet , but they don’t often realize that the electricity coming from that outlet has to be generated somewhere.
I read that, if liberals dreams come true, and we suddenly had tens of millions of electric cars on the road, that our power grid and power plants don’t have the capacity to deliver the electricity needed to recharge all those cars.
We really should think all this through before we jump headlong with both feet into phasing out fossil fuels and gasoline powered cars.
I can see an Electric Land Rover rolling across the Serengeti, surrounded by lions, hyenas and jackals just waiting for the battery to die..................
From electrical problems to electric car. With more electrical problems.
Correct on all counts.
The recharging of millions of autos simultaneously would burn out the grid................quickly..............
