The recharging of millions of autos simultaneously would burn out the grid................quickly..............No problem. Electricity will be rationed, and the government will have to approve all automotive travel. That's all part of the plan.

They always looked fat, bloated and overweight.I actually feel a bit that way about the new "retro" Dodge Challengers. To me they look too stocky. The originals were more low and sleek.

You can always get a generator at home and charge it up using gas...The very first Tesla was a two seat roadster. To enable long distance road trips an optional accessory was available. A trailer mounted gasoline fired generator.

LOL...someone close to me bought an XJ ...returned it because it was in the shop every week. A big disappointment.
A F-Pace pulled along side me last night....what an ugly SUV. Visibility out the back window must be like that of a tank. Throaty muffler sound. Wonder why? Who wants their SUV to sound like a muscle car? Mustangs sound better.

Maybe you haven’t noticed, but very few new vehicles have good rear visibility. Subarus maybe. Aerodynamics have forced rear cameras.
Fast SUVs make perfect sense for auto fans any place with bad weather and bad roads. Trucks are just too big and awkward for a lot of places.

As far as a SUV model....BMW, Audi, Porsche, Benz, Honda, some Toyotas, some Jeeps have good viz.

Hopefully the Germans will make all their military aircraft electric as well - or solar powered with maximum speed of about 50 mph. That would make life easier if they try to establish a fourth Reich.
