Who says AR15s have no legitimate purpose in private hands? Such people lack any imagination.
Self-defense.
Good guy knows how to use cover, avoids getting hit by assailants’ 40+ inaccurately delivered rounds.
Good guy uses his AR15 and training to return accurate and effective fire, taking out the moving vehicle, killing two of its occupants and sending a third to the hospital where he’s undergoing surgery.

I can't tell you how much I love this. More than 40 rounds fired at him, not a hit. Meanwhile, he drops all three sphincters, cold.
