Wrong, wrong, wrong. The Romans, for one, enslaved numerous peoples during its existence and they weren't Muslims.
The Greeks/Spartans enslaved people as well and they weren't Muslims either.
You can go back as far as Sumer and find slavery.

Thank you for the clarification. Had I been more conscientious I might have said something like:
“Every American slave’s captor was, first, an Arab. Yes, there were slaves before American and/or colonial slaves, and yes, many were born into captivity, and yes, there were slaves before and after, but the job of capturing slaves in Africa for shipmant to the New World was a Muslim / Arab job, and yes, it wasn’t a “new world” to everyone, and yes, there were exceptions.”
And yes, you were far better off in the American South as a slave than you were anywhere else.
