I also have a theory about alien intelligent life. (1) We evolved intelligence because it helped us solve problems unique to our environment on Earth. A radically different environment would present different evolutionary pressures and lead to the emergence of a different type of intelligence. Such an entity could be sufficiently different that we would not recognize it as intelligent or perhaps even being alive. In other words, we might meet ET and not even know it. (2) A sufficiently advanced civilization would communicate and travel by means we cannot yet even imagine, much less know to look for. It would be like our ancestors who had no knowledge of radio waves or lasers looking into space for semaphores or smoke signals.
There could also be ‘intelligences’ that are so far invisible or imperceptible to us, on or within the sphere of our own planet.
We have been transmitting EM signals for 100 years. There are 100 light years from Earth. If we contacted anyone at the 50 light year mark they will be here any day now.
It’s pretty safe to say that it wasn’t created by any alien. And even if it was, that alien has been dead for three billion years.
Maybe these are the residual lights from alien weapons as they wiped themselves out as a species 3 billion years ago...
A guy a my church once asked me, “Maybe the universe just looks older than it is. Don’t you believe God could create the light on its way here from the stars?”
And I said, “Sure He could. But why?”

They should make a movie about that.
Because getting a message delivered in 3 billion years is practical.
The speed of light is useless for communications outside of a star system let alone a galaxy.
Time to send them back signals that translate to the first chapter of Hillary’s new book. Once they receive it in billions of years, they will conclude that there’s no intelligent life on Earth, and spare us.

The earth sends a 50/60 hz tone 12 hours at 50 cycles per second and 12 hours of 60 cycles. This is caused by the power grids in Europe and the americas. Their power is 50hz, ours 60 hz.
This signal is 50 times brighter than the sun. We have already transmitted to ET over the last 10 decades. Too late to hide now...
