I say we free Japan to make all the nukes they want.

If we issued the permission now, they'd have 100 fully-functional, fully-fittable-to-missile nuclear weapons in 8 hours.

I’m not all that sure I’d really want them with several hundred; after they take out China they might start wanting a rematch with us :-)

But hey, China wants a proxy war, Japan’s got game.
