I have floaters, including one seemingly familiar one, which is quite noticeable but not obtrusive.

More recently I noticed that I was getting a very small dark spot, on occasion, which seemed to “wander off” within a minute or so of walking around. I attribute this to a “floater” near the retina, sinking under gravity when I’m in an erect posture.

These are nothing more than a minor annoyance ... so far!

If you’re getting dark spots you might want to see an opthamologist soon to make sure you don’t have a retinal detachment, which can be serious if not attended to Google retinal detachment symptoms and see whether it’s what you’re experiencing
