From what I can gather it’s a misleading term. What is being postulated online is that the standard internal pressure of the suit was doubled while in vacuum to test against bursting.

From what I can gather it’s a misleading term. What is being postulated online is that the standard internal pressure of the suit was doubled while in vacuum to test against bursting. Sounds correct. Probably a 29.4 psi pressure differential, rather than normal sea level of 14.7 psi.
