Probably the most successful people to be resettled anywhere are the Vietnamese in America. We did a great job helping them. They came here and became part of America. Those who didn't have a job learned a skill and went to work. I don't remember hearing anything about Vietnamese crime gangs or them wanting their "rights."
And that is the difference.
It is in Catholic teaching that nations have the right to protect themselves and to go to war when threatened.
The last thing we need is to be forced to accept people into our country who are working for our demise.
Sounds like Frankie really should go back and read Catholic teaching instead of relying on his commie friends to tell him what to think.

Good comment, Slyfox. True, the Vietnamese immigrants assimilated well. And I enjoy the tasty and clean restaurants some of them started. Their culture was compatible with traditional American values.

One is my friend. He left at 9 months old, as the south fell. He said his parents knew they’d be killed if they stayed.
