Trump did not sound at all like he was about to throw in the towel. I think Clapper was seizing upon the president’s allusion to the great life he left to be president. That’s simply true. But he didn’t become a billionaire by buckling under to adversity.
While fighting for US and our nation, it is also believed he is, many times, enjoying the fight. Our President will never back down. He’ll fight to the finish. Clapper is a disease.
