“What I do every morning — there a couple of services I look at that gives me a synopsis of articles,” McConnell said. “It is my view that most news is not fake. But I do try to look at a variety of sources.”
McConnell also said he reads a variety of sources that Trump has blasted, including the New York Times.
McConnell can’t save his Senata chairmanship nor his party. i will not vote for these twits again nor will they get a dime from me.
It’s my impression that he uses his platform to exposed the entrenched establishment folks to us masses. No one would know twertle was bad mouthing out president if he didn’t have hos arrogant arse headlined on Drudge where everyone can see him.. He will now feel the heat from the voters.

I don’t think the NY Slimes made anything up. McConnell and the GOP establishment are feeding them this stuff. It is what they do. They’ve hated Trump since Day 1 and would like nothing else to impeach him to send him and other outsiders a message.
The only thing Trump has are his supporters. Everyone. Republicans. Democrats. Media. Corporations. Deep State. Everyone else is against him.
It’s not so much impeachment as McConnell wanting to seize the agenda from Trump. The reason all the GOPe Senators pounced on POTUS after Charlottesville wasn’t really about that. They were waiting to pound him at the first opportunity because there are big issues coming up. Tax reform, budget, obamacare repeal, etc.
The Senate is a lost cause, IMO. I think the only thing Trump can do is try to turn Ryan. He needs to work with Mercer and threaten Ryan with well funded primary opponents for GOPe in the house if he does not follow Trump’s lead. If Trump can isolate McConnell it will be a whole new ball game.
McConnel needs to worry about his own re-election, which is looking extremely doubtful.
If Mr. Trump does not send Ivanka and Jared back to New York, his presidency won’t be worth saving.
What makes the Trump-McConnell feud even more hilarious is that Trump gave the Secretary of Transportation job to McConnell’s wife LMAO! So the McConnell household is pulling in double duty tax-payer funded salaries. That’s why the feud is hilarious.
If true, Mitch had better pray to Almighty God that the Trump Presidency is successful and lasts until at least January 20, 2021 or he will get skinned alive by some unhappy Kentucky Patriots.
McConnell does not understand that Trump’s supporters are not going anywhere.
I’m a small bit surprised that no one here has mentioned the Awan brothers. I wonder if they could be the key to a lot of things including the Republicrats like McConnell and Graham and McCain?

The man’s as popular in his home state as gonorrhea — if you trust PPP’s polling to be accurate, that is. Remember, they also had Jeff Flake polling in VD range in his own home state of Arizona. It’s unusual for an incumbent from a state dominated by his party to tank quite that badly absent a major scandal. But then, it’s also unusual for a party to tank quite as badly as the GOP has this year.

Now Trump needs to follow through and make them fear him. He must help unelect Flake and Corker, minimum. And unseat a few from the House in primary.
