Problem is, this one could stall inland. Some models are predicting over 2 feet of rain.

The problem with the “models” is the it is presently stalled over Yucatan and losing organization/strength (must be a Democrat.) Doubtful it will re-intensify significantly without moving back into the gulf and remaining there for a period before making landfall.

I live on high ground. A lot of Texans do not. Rain is probably going to be the primary danger with this storm.

We are far enough inland not to have to worry about serious flooding....but it floods in Houston if someone pours a coke out at a corner.
