Republican California Rep. Dana Rohrabacher met with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange Wednesday at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, The Daily Caller has learned.
Charles Johnson, a conservative journalist, told TheDC that he arranged the meeting for Assange because the WikiLeaks chief wants to strike a deal with the U.S. so he can stop living in asylum.
Rohrabachers spokesman Ken Grubbs told TheDC, I can confirm that the meeting happened and said that Johnson was in the meeting.

Dems will pay him off to lie.
He wants a deal. To get one, he’d have to hand over some of the information, then have what was handed over verified as true.
Don’t hold your breath on this one.
He’s working with a Republican right now, not a Democrat. There’s been 2 huge holes blown in the Democratic narrative lately too, the story in the Nation describing possible technical aspects of the data transfer, and new e-mails described yesterday in leaks that show Manafort and others in the Trump campaign were being pushed to meet with the Russians, but they were concerned that it was improper and refused to actually do it.
While much of what he has released over the years has been unfortunately damaging to the US, it's never been proven to be incorrect, and is generally accepted as 100% genuine. My guess is that would be the case here once again, and this country desperately needs to know the truth, for a variety of reasons.
Good for Dana.

Maybe gonna give some info to Dana R about the Russians didn’t hack the DNC?
Respectfully, no. I’ve given immunity deals. The suspect must show the goods and have them verified, otherwise it will blow up in your face. Remember, giving him a deal means he’s selling his testimony. This does not generally play well before juries.
And, no - not everyone “desperately need to know the truth”. I would say most in power and the press feel just the opposite here if it vindicates Trump.
He's an IT expert, surrounded by a team of them. Verifying something such as e-mails from someone wouldn't be that difficult, if they are authentic. Despite his countless releases of damaging info on the US, no one has successfully been able to dispute the accuracy of any of it, as any attempts to do so typically fail over time.

They may not 'want' it, but there is a desperate 'need' for the truth in America. As this continues to unfold, I'm starting to think more and more that Trump holds the winning hand, else he wouldn't be so over the top in his accusations against the press, intelligence community, etc. He would have fallen into line like most every other President before him.
