Two Irish groups regularly fly the Confederate flag and one of the flags was seen on television on Sunday at a major sporting event despite the weekend deaths in Charlottesville and the white supremacist supporters widely waving the Confederate flag.
It also flew Sunday at Dublin’s premier sporting grounds in Croke Park in Dublin.
Supporters of the Cork team, which played Waterford in the All-Ireland hurling semifinal before over 72,000 people in Croke Park, were seen flying the flag during television coverage of Sunday’s game.

It reminds me of the story of how Cartoon Network here in the US refused to show Speedy Gonzales cartoons because they were RACIS. When they’re shown all the time in Mexico because they love him there.
The Irish aren’t racist here - they have a different understanding of the flag but that doesn’t stop the SJWs for ramming their morality down the worlds throat.
They’re not white supremacists, they’re just fans of the Confederacy from the Civil War there, Giselle. There’s a big difference!

There was a recent article and video I saw (I think here) where a guy with a Dukes of Hazzard replica General Lee Dodge Charger was at a car show event. Some random woman walked by and was just INCENSED that such a thing was allowed, that she shouldn’t have to see a Confederate flag. She went all SJW crazy on the guy, made a huge scene. To use the current vernacular, she was certainly “triggered”.
It was something to see. People certainly think they have a right to not be offended.

This subject is of interest to me at least because I used to live in the country in question, and their press is more anti-Trump than ours; also, they are suppressing free expression in spite of saying they champion it, as all leftists do. And it is proving to be of interest to some others. Nobody is obliged to post on any thread.
Fanaticism is not morality, however frenzied the exposition or demonstration of its intensity. And it only leads to greater fanaticism. Hate fed revolutions continue until they finally either self-destruct, or are finally destroyed by others.
The Irish also love American country music and bluegrass, which had their roots in Irish music. They have at least one radio station in Dublin that plays country music (our taxi driver had it on the radio when he picked us up at the airport) the same way we have stations or programs playing lots of traditional Irish music.
