One major advantage which the Chinese have in Africa, is that they don't care if somebody calls them racists.

One other major advantage is that they have a highly populated country, with lots of peasant labor. China needs Africa's minerals. China doesn't really have any need for the African people -- something the Africans will discover when the Africans become too troublesome.

I've been to South Africa several times.I visited twice during apartheid while dating a South African woman and I visited last year.

What I found last year was shocking.Crime in the country is at astronomical levels.Johannesburg is a "no go" area *during the daytime*.The whites have moved to the suburbs,one of which is where we stayed as a "base" for our travels to the game parks.It was a prosperous area (there was a Rolls Royce dealership a few hundred yards from our hotel) but *everywhere* you went there were high walls,electrified fences and signs saying stuff like "Protected by Ajax Armed Response".

And there was the poverty.We drove through a township on the outskirts of Johannesburg (can't recall the name) which was a carbon copy of the slums we had seen in the outskirts of Nairobi.

The South Africans we spoke with (white and black) seemed optimistic about SA's future.I'm not sure I share that optimism.

South Africa has their own refugee problem with many invading from other African countries, since South Africa’s economy is still light years ahead of the rest of the continent.

After a year and 1/2 the newspapers in RSA, the vast majority of which were and are still run by blacks and all of which ARE government owned, had half a page high letters saying "BRING BACK APARTHEID"!

And the animosity, against the ANC, by BLACKS, is HUGE! Just look at last year's election results...which can't be explained away, by claiming it was ONLY "white" votes!

The stinking COMMIE ANC is losing its grip.

Homes, protected by very high walls topped with broken glass and razor wire, has been the "norm" for many decades. So too have cars and taxis that are outfitted with James Bondish kinds of things, like flame thrower things on the wheels, due to the car-jackings.

You can trace and blame the high crimes ( and not just against whites, there's a LOT of black on black crime too! ) on "saint" Nelson and the COMMIE ANC!
