Incensed that he would have to share Taco Bell tacos with his brother--who brought the takeout food home--an Alabama man grabbed a baseball bat and struck his sibling in the head.

It might be best to do away with the dinner table. A few years ago one brother killed another over the last piece of fried chicken. In another incident in Florida (?), a teen killed one brother and shot a second in another argument over food. A muzzy, here in the US, killed his wife over not fixing what he wanted for dinner.

This is why I introduced HR269 today, which will outlaw Assault Baseball Bats and make our streets safer. These weapons can fall into the hands of children, who might strike each other by accident while arguing over tacos. The bill also makes it illegal to have an Assault Baseball Bat that doesn't have a Smart Grip, meaning only the police registered owner of that Bat can pick it up an use it. We need safter Bats, and safer swings.
