Humans shouldn’t eat any grains, anyway.

I have been discovering that government/agribusiness propaganda has been incredibly effective. Most people believe they will DIE without carbohydrates. “You need carbohydrates for energy!”

If course, virtually everyone believes we need three meals a day, when three meals a week is more like it.

I avoid processed food as much as possible.

Most of it is a trip to migraine town for a few hours.

See the book “The Plant Paradox” by Dr. Steven Gundry, a former vegetarian.

He warns about BHT and other chemical endocrine disrupters, along with lectins which are found in grains & pseudo-grains, corn, legumes, beans, soy and nightshade vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, eggplant).

Read this and you will understand why so many young people are confused about “gender.”

‘Three meals a week’? I’d look like Mahatma Gandhi on that diet regimen. I’ll take my 3 meals a day and eat healthy _ thank you very much.

It's not the government that makes me like potatoes, pasta, and rice.

It's the fact that they all taste so damn good!

And yes, white rice tastes better and is less gummy than brown rice, and regular pasta works better with meals than whole wheat.

So if I die because of flavor and texture, then so be it.

BHT is used in many breakfast cereals to preserve taste and appearance and prevent them from turning rancid.

Well, that explains why that 1971 box of Captain Crunch I found in the back of the cupboard still tastes like the day it was made.

Totally agree. Most food makes me sick. Grains do bad things to me. Eggs are fine and I love sugar. Love coffee.

We eat 2 meals a day, my breakfast is vastly different than hubby’s as I have Diverticulosis and Gastropresis...slow motility, Fiber foods equate to LOTS OF AB PAIN, PUKING AND BLOCKED BOWELS as I can’t digest fiber well. Half a cheese sandwich with black coffee is my normal breakfast. I miss my fruits and Veggies. Bananas are the only 1 can mash to a pulp, but that runs my Blood Sugar up to high.

His is a total carb fest, despite having eggs available and left over meat.

Supper is light.

I would only modify your statement in this way - some people should not eat grains as much as they do, and when eating grains the less processed and the less modified with chemicals the better.

When we do eat them as “processed”, as in flours of every sort, it should not be as often as it is for too many of us.

A cake is a nice treat. But a healthy meal is not pancakes for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, biscuits and gravy for dinner and slices of cake for desert. Too much “processed” grains for one 24 hour’s diet.
