Galveston and Wichita Lineman are my two fav’s of his; well okay, Rhinestone Cowboy too.
I just ordered a Best of, so I’ll look forward to RC. Thanks for reminding me. Got the album for Gentle on my Mind. What a loss!!
Will be checking out Amazon for his CD’s to find a good collection.

It’s corny but I always loved “Gentle On My Mind” - a duet with Bobbie Gentry. She sang flat most of the time but the recording was pretty.
I tried to buy the album a while ago but it’s $99 for the vinyl . (My brother lost mine in the ‘70s. Bummer.)
He looks wonderful on that cover. Is it better to get the original album, or will the Best Of have the worthwhile ones?
Suggestions appreciated for a fandom to go with the song.

You may well have saved my butt. I’ve been frantically trying to find music to use for my grandfather, a shift boss on the Stratton Independence at Cripple Creek, who made his own gold mine strike. He was also a newspaperman and wrote about a gunfight he was in at the bottom of the mine. This song would be PERFECT for him! Infinite thanks.
Glad to be of service.

Glen Campbell - Ghost On The Canvas - Official Video
from 2011
Great song with Glen Cambpell’s kids playing written by Paul Westerberg.
Most "Best Of", or "Greatest Hits", albums, by any artist, differ from one another in their list of songs. You really should check sites that have lots of reviews when buying albums, or anything for that matter, even if you aren't planning on buying them from the site. Amazon is one of the best product review sites around. Just go there and do a search for Glen Campbell. Then check out the various "Best Of" or "Greatest Hits" albums for the reviews. Anthology albums or box sets of course have the most complete selections of songs for a particular artist.
