My son is a cop. For 2% of the population, gays (especially lesbians) account for probably 1/3 domestic violence calls.

Given that homosexuals of either sex have a much higher incidence of drug and alcohol abuse than the general public, as well as additional psychological illnesses, it makes sense that their relationships would be disproportionally chaotic and violent.
