A University of Georgia professor has adopted a stress reduction policy that will allow students to select their own grades if they feel unduly stressed by the ones they earned.
According to online course syllabi for two of Dr. Richard Watsons fall business courses, he has introduced the policy because emotional reactions to stressful situations can have profound consequences for all involved.

Hell, if I could’ve selected my own grades, I’d have been Magna Cum Laude!!!!!!!!!!!
A little stress is good for you. Unduly stressed by poor grades....maybe it’s what you earned snowflake.
anytime that would happen when I was in college, I gave myself an A.
I wonder how many picked OTHER THAN an A?
And when they get out in the real world, are the companies they work for going to let them choose their own salaries? Whether they get fired or not? Whether they were successful on a project or not? Kids who get to choose their own grades are going to end up Welfare cases.
Sounds mostly like stress reduction for the Prof.
With the end result being that any degree granted from this college will not be worth the paper it’s printed on.
Something the accreditation board should know about.
There is a SERIOUS mental problem affecting the citizens of this country and nobody has the balls to address it.
SMH.
And folks wonder why M.B.A means...
M.oreB.ullshyte A.bove
...these days.

Preparing them for all those jobs where the boss lets employees choose their own salary.
This guy is rendering the diplomas from his school are useless. Who would hire these people?
I’m feeling a little stressed. Can I call my bank and choose my own balance?
When I taught, I did the same thing a few times and asked the students to pick the grade they deserved on a test.
Almost all the students nailed the grade within three points, most of them underestimating their grade.
My decision had nothing to do with their stress, but more with how they were able to develop skills to critique their own effort and ability.

Coming soon: select your own graduation date, job and salary.
Uhuh.
Got entitlement?
ENTITLED GUITAR TOKER: Im not a $25 dollar player.
ME: The venue has a capacity of 900. The Mexican bands put $12000 in the drawer when they play. Tonight there was $180 in the drawer.
ENTITLED GUITAR TOKER: Yeah capacity of 900 but nobody is here. That sucks... { blah whine blah }
ME: Whose responsibility is it to fix that and build an audience?
ENTITLED GUITAR TOKER: Not mine.
ME: SMH.
I’m feeling micro-aggressed. He fails to mention where each student’s personal cubby is and when nap times and snack times are.
