At least eight Google employees tweeted Friday about a document that was circulated within the company calling for replacing Google's diversity initiatives with policies that encourage "ideological diversity" instead. The document, which is the personal opinion of one senior software engineer, was shared on a company mailing list but has since gone "internally viral," according to a Google employee who spoke with Motherboard.

All these SV companies hire based on ability. They are many things, but stupid is not one of them. The best people will be kept on the key projects. Those hired for “diversity” reasons will be put in places that best suit their ability, but that maximize the PR impact and minimize the damage they can cause.
In big corporate, “diversity” (meaning: anything but Christian, conservative, traditional values are good) rules. Anyone thinking that corporate America is anything but all-in on SJW, think again. Small family businesses are just about the last bastion of freedom here. No wonder those same small businesses have a big bullseye on them. And let’s not forget that our alleged “conservative” political leaders have done, at best, nothing to defend Christian-owned small businesses. For example, see what the previous IN governor did with the legislature’s religious freedom bill.

These liberals should stop seeing things in black and white or male and female.
Let’s say a man feels he’s 60% - 70% a woman. They’re discriminating against that man. You know, since the PC crowd thinks we get to choose your own sex. Does a person have to 100% change their sexual identity to get the benefits of victimhood? What about those men feeling a just a little more female than male? They deserve all the rights of women, right? /sarcasm
And what about whites that identify more as black? Shouldn’t they get the victimhood benefits?
Sorry, I just wanted to show that there is no logic to snowflake positions.

What you say suggests there is no test for political attitudes and that's generally true, but nevertheless the customer-facing and decision-making people are overwhelmingly progressive/liberal.
You will find conservative attitudes pretty much only among the SW architects, systems analysts and coders and other engineering roles. The "creative", product management, sales and senior management staff tends to be young, very "socially conscious", and buys in to all the diversity and SJW groupthink. Most of the companies have the same structure, so they compete for ability within these categories, but the attitudes of the non-hard-tech category are super left wing wherever you go.
Most Google employees are not ideological leftists. Google is ideologically left because of upper management.
Companies, any companies having “blog boards” is just stupid.
Email for official “interoffice” communications, yes.
Some place to go and rant, or “let of steam”, no; that employees can do on their own time and with their own resources.
It sounds to me like many Google employees can waste a lot of time every day, and do so with Google resources.

But there's a way that simply enforcing the Constitution as written would kill their pocketbooks; just read the Art 1, Sec 8, clause that establishes the powers for copyright.

Much of the “diversity” at Google is (homo)sexual, and the freaks are kept around to please the freaks at the top.
