Its obvious that what Trump needs to do is veto any and all legislation to raise the Debt Ceiling until Congress gets ObamaCare repealed. The members of Congress need to remember that they were elected to repeal ObamaCare and not to raise the Debt Ceiling. Why is it so important to repeal ObamaCare? Because its not solving the problem but instead forcing the problem down the throats of middle America to destroy the country.
Yup...he should work with obstructionist on both sides to obstruct. Poison pills in every bill. The new mantra needs to be: Tear it Down!!!
It won’t work. The Democrats would just join the Republicans and pass a debt ceiling increase by a veto proof majority if the alternative is the repeal of their crown jewel.
They’ll either override that veto, or structure the government “shutdown” for maximum civilian pain and blame it all on Trump. He needs to develop allies in Congress so he can actually get his agenda through. He’s done about as much as can be done as a solo act, anything else needs a team.
Raise the debt ceiling and get it over with. It’s been done again and again and will continue to be raised. Stop playing a damn game with this matter.
Why do we even HAVE a debt ceiling?
.
We don’t and have not had for decades!

A genuine classic that comedically exposes the problem as well as clarifies why we are all screwed.

Not until repeal, but N E V E R, should be the operative word.

(1) Its leverage - i.e. government cannot borrow money unless the swamp draining is in process. (2) We have got to start reducing the level of the National Debt or our country is finished.
