While I agree that submission to anything muslim is a bad idea, I noticed that the formal statement was made by a public relations firm. It is part of the job for PR firms to grovel if needed. No one pays any attention to those type of boilerplate apologies.
Could also be a false flag op by the camel-riders. Notice that they ran straight to CAIR with a complaint.

It appears there is such a thing as a bacon allergy
or possibly nitrate/nitrite allergy or even MEAT allergy.
