Journalism as it it is currently practiced today in America is, as shills, for one world Marxism. They need to be tricked. Trump has them spinning in confused circles. Love it.

A well-researched, thoughtful response can demonstrate that someone is a propagandist or lacks integrity.

Yes it can, provided the audience is highly intelligent, objective and decently educated. So what do we do about the other 90% of the public?

Profanity they understand. It gets the point across without having all the complicated thinking necessary to prove it.

Trump instinctively understands something that a lot of intellectuals do not understand. Politics is really just a game of "the Dozens." It's about who can establish Alpha dog supremacy and not much else.

When Trump has a press conference led by CNN, NYT, WP, AP, ABC, NBC, CBS... he is giving his political enemies a free shot.

Freeze them out. Make them stand outside the White House along with The Nation, Slate, Salon.com, Mother Jones... etc.

Agree. Marginalize them by denying them respect.

I do not wish to make peace with them. My point is that they can be handled in a professional manner. One does not have to stoop to their level to expose them for what they are.

Now that is something with which we can go. That would work too. Several strategies could be employed. When behavior improves, conditions improve.

I fear the problem is systemic. I think the problem arises because wealthy and powerful people (who make a lot of money from the Washington spending spree) control the Networks and other press outlets.

So long as the Press is owned by people with a vested interest in Washington spending, it will always be deceitful and hostile to anyone trying to get the spending under control.

Present company exempted, methinks we should shoot all the journalists.

Starting in alphabetical order; ABC, CBS, etc.

I certainly understand the reason for which you wrote that. However, if the premise becomes that we should shoot all journalists, then journalists who are doing their jobs corrected and are reporting truthfully will also be murdered. It won’t be a selective process.
