When I visited a Mongolian nomad family last year, they cooked a sheep head in my honor. I politely declined the eyes and brain.

There was a fad in the 50s of chocolate covered ants and french fried grasshoppers. A friend’s parents had leftovers from a party. We ate them. Not at all bad. The ants were like chocolate-covered raisins and french fried grasshoppers tasted like the French’s canned fried onions.
