Fort Lauderdale police arrested a naked bank robbery suspect Tuesday.
He targeted a Regions bank at 100 SE Third Ave, according to WSVN.
He allegedly ditched his clothes and threw money everywhere along East Las Olas Boulevard when a red dye packet exploded.
Police planned to turn over the suspect to the FBI.

How ever did they find him?
“How ever did they find him?”
He was the only naked dipstick running naked down the street covered in dye.
L
He was the only naked track star.
I do love these threads.
“Calling all cars, calling all cars - be on the lookout for a small red wiener, last reported westbound on Broward Blvd.”
LOL! Are they going to start using the flash speed runner at baseball games. Sure hope not with 5 kids!
He wanted to go into the robbery naked, but at least he waited until he had departed the bank....
Are we certain that he hadn’t been reading/watching movies on Francis of Assisi?
FL is hot this time of the year. Really, really hot.
Who else is old enough to remember the “streaking” phenomenon in the ‘70s? Never saw it in “real life” but I remember that showing up on newscasts with people streaking at sporting events etc.
Most likely Blue. Report of large Blue Smurf running down Hollywood Boulevard! Papa will be pissed, his communists are running a crime ring.
Guess he was a little red faced to be caught red handed!
If he is a Caucasian with black hair, he could be called a ‘used newspaper’, being black and white and red all over.
This has the makings of a long and funny string.
Or the Oscars.

Played in a bar band while in high school. Our keyboard player decided it was a good idea to streak halftime at one of our school’s football game.
He wore nothing but a mask. He got away with it.
He’s a Catholic youth councilor to this day.
For a minute there I thought he robbed the bank naked. My next thought was the lineup for witnesses to identify the suspect. :-)
I’ll admit I remember. Someone made a song about it.
