What liberalism really is today is a naïveté, a gullibility without peer. And because they are so rootless, they have been fully mesmerized by the actual socialist Left. The left always finds liberals useful and eventually expendable.
It’s an interesting theory, Yaelle. Makes sense. I usually equate the Left with the Liberal.
But I think your distinction is correct, there’s a lot of mindless follow the crowd among Liberals.
So by your definition, sounds like Hillary voters are liberal and Berniebots are Leftists.
