We are operating in a parallel universe. Sort of. Valerie Elise Plame Wilson--remember her? She had her identity as covert officer of the CIA leaked to the press by President Bush's Deputy Secretary of State Richard L. Armitage and subsequently made public. This led to the New York Times reporter Judith Miller spending 85 days in jail for refusing to reveal her sources to prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald knew the source of the leak (Armatage), but he wanted to go after reporters who refused to name their sources. After more than two years of investigation in the nation’s capital, with all of its perks, good restaurants, and plush accommodations, Fitzgerald did get a conviction with Scooter Libby who had no clue it was Armitage all along.

Investor's Business Daily questioned Fitzgerald's truthfulness in an editorial, stating "From top to bottom, this has been one of the most disgraceful abuses of prosecutorial power in this country's history...The Plame case proves [Fitzgerald] can bend the truth with the proficiency of the slickest of pols." This is what you get from a politically motivated prosecutor.

Is history going to repeat itself with President Trump? Is prosecuter Meuller going to ignore the real criminals and trump up a charge against Trump? According to Lou Dobbs, who spoke to Lars Larson tonight, we have a corrupt special prosecutor with a political agenda. Is it time for Trump to fire Meuller?

Are DJT et al., getting tired of losing scalps yet? Has the circus really come to town?

Pick an acknowledged problematic area, for example the IRS, and focus on it like a laser.

Gloves off, all committee “invitations” gone, just let it rain subpoena after subpoena. That “under oath” thingy is far too underutilized.

N.B., Recall Holder as AG and Fast ‘n Furious remains “under” the rug still.
