While WorldTimeServer.com can help you look up accurate times around the world, our visitors have expressed much interest in our help to keep your local computer clock accurate, too. Atomic Clock Synchronization is the best way to make this happen. Windows can do it ...
Windows has a built-in "service" that allows your computer to reference an atomic clock server, such as the atomic clock servers operated by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the United States. Your current computer time is compared with the current atomic time and an adjustment is made to keep your local computer up-to-date with the exact time now. ... but it is hard to configure
While it is great to have this functionality in Windows, configuring this time service is painful! If you want to sync more often than the default, you have to be very comfortable editing the System Registry OR you can use our Atomic Clock Sync program to do the work for you. so use Atomic Clock Sync and go the easy route
Atomic Clock Sync offers an easy way to configure how often your computer will check in with an atomic clock server to keep your local system clock adjusted for accuracy. The default in Windows is to sync every 7 days, but you can easily change this to be more often if you find your computer clock gets behind or ahead too quickly.
Atomic Clock Sync can even help repair the Windows Time Service if your computer is no longer able to check for Internet Time updates as it normally would.
Best of all, you can download and use this utility at no cost to you!
Atomic Clock Sync includes no spyware! No ad banners! No cost! No questions asked! We give Atomic Clock Sync away for free simply to encourage you to use and return to World Time Server.com for the current times around the world. We appreciate your loyalty and we thank you for sharing our site with your friends, too! Atomic Clock Sync helps keep your local clock accurate and WorldTimeServer has the accurate clocks for everywhere else! Download Atomic Clock Sync

Here's a handy TIME Check:

Ping.....................
If your computer needs a time check more than once a week, it’s probably time for a new computer, or maybe motherboard battery.
I’ve tried ‘em all and after no end of timeouts and connection failures, the best always-works app for users is www.timesynchtool.com You synch to a pool of NTP servers, let their sysadmins all over the world sync with NIST. The above tool automatically demotes servers experience connection problems so you’re always using the best one for your location.
I've suggested Dimension 4 from ThinkingMan software. Been very happy with it.

Freeware for personal use.
Use software from the “Chaos Software Group” that has an unlimited supply of juvenile exclamation points? I think I will take a pass on this opportunity!!!! No thanks!!!
Besides, I use a Mac.
!!!
Doesn’t Windows already have this built in? The time always seems right on.
On the download program page, it states that it supports Windows 8 .... not windows 10.
Some people who work in the sciences need accurate time, really, really accurate time.........................
I knew that was gonna be that!.............................
I tried it out on Windows 10, seems to wok....................
Windows syncs to ‘Internet Time’ that it gets from your service provider’s server clock. Of course, if you have no external internet connection, your computer’s clock just runs in its own little world..........
Yes. You already have that utility on your computer.
Don’t accidentally configure yours to Atomic Wedgie.
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care? (Chicago)
“Of course, if you have no external internet connection, your computers clock just runs in its own little world”
Well doesn’t your Atomic Clock Sync also require an Internet connection to get the time?
Well, yeah, I’m just saying that with no way to sync to the outside world, your computer clock will run fast or slow progressively unless you manually update it. Computer’s internal clocks are terrible without the sync........................
Sure... step into our van little girl we have candy!
