Same excuse as that diabolical Tennessee teacher, Tad Cummins. He has asked for a trial delay - probably because his victim will be somewhat older (I hope not pregnant) and he will benefit from her more mature appearance.

The trial is currently scheduled to begin on July 25.
The motion states that the defense needs additional time to investigate and research issues in the case.
Cummins’ is requesting his trial be set for January of 2018.
Yeah those sly 17 yo boys can really take advantage of a 54 yo female teacher....
