I went to the War Rooms when I was in London in 2006. Started chatting with a husband and wife, and discovered that the husband had been one of the children shipped off to the country during the war.

One of the best preserved attractions in London. It is very well done and the adjoining Churchill Museum is a Must See. I could spend an entire day in there.
