Astounding implications; coupled with digital audio editing whereas phrases and whole sentences can be spliced together, now video can be fabricated along with phony audio for propaganda purposes. Given the recent escalation of unethical fake news in opposition to Tump, there is no level the media will stoop given this sort of technolgy in the future.

What they can’t do is program intuition, gut feeling, into AI. When what appears to be right but your intuition says “nope” AI can’t do that.

I remember a claim several years ago that CGI could resurrect old stars like Errol Flynn and star him in brand new movies so that it could not be recognized as CGI on the screen.
