People in both camps are way too trusting. You take hostages/prisoners and immediately let them near the food??

Also, if I remember correctly, turning anthrax into a powder is a highly dangerous process and if laboratory isolation protocols are not rigorously followed, the manufacturers are themselves at risk of contracting the disease. Additionally, to be picky, anthrax can be treated by ciprofloxacin which is in a lot of survivalist supplies.
