All of the rain has kept me from working in the pond for the past couple weeks. Really need it to dry up so I can get back on that.
I need to spend some time in the kitchen garden pulling weeds and tieing tomato plants to the fence. I've got a lot of big green ones but nothing ready to pick yet. Might dig another row of potatoes. Also need to get my kentucky wonder beans in the ground. It's getting late for that but they'll do ok if I get it done this weekend.
The cuttings I took from the busted peach tree are doing well in the cloner. No wilt at all so far. I also took some cuttings off of the big weeping willow tree that I planted out by the pond when we moved out here.
Did you happen to see post 136 on last weeks thread?
Nice pic - thanks for posting. Just curious-how long have you been trying to get that pond fixed?
We only have one acre and the house and front yard is probably 1/4 of that. Not enough for a pond according to the type of soil per the extension office.
I have been wondering if we could use an above ground pool and raise some fish, but with the Mo. winters that might not work too well.

Saw that video and thought of you. (it’s a raccoon in a swimming pool)
