Michael Johnson vs. Justin Gaethje in the main event
Tomorrow (Sat) UFC 217, Prelims on FS1 at 8:00 Eastern, Main Card on PPV at 10:00 Eastern
Women's 135 Champ Amanda Nunes rematching Valentina Shevchenko in the Main event
Interim Middleweight Title also on the line, Yoel Romero vs. Robert Whittaker
Also Fabrício Werdum vs. Alistair Overeem, Anthony Pettis vs. Jim Miller
Cowboy Cerrone was supposed to fight Robby Lawler but that fight was postponed due to an injury to Cowboy.

Problem is I know NO ONE on this card, except for Dalloway and Herman.
So I guess I will just go with the odds makers on that and take Dalloway, even though I have no faith whatsoever that he will win.

Stuck at work so I have no idea who’s doing what thus far in tonight’s fights. Here are my non-researched gut picks:

(don’t care about the Hill vs Yoder fight)
Gaethje - just on a hunch.

That was the only fight I had any sort of anything on ;/
I haven’t seen Herman do much of anything lately, and Dalloway, every now and then, can be decently good.
Ah well, thank you for the heads up, Impy.
Ladd must have had a bad weight cut, that fight was called off.
For tomorrow’s fights:
Giles - whoever that is
Stamann - because of the odds
Font - same reason

Oliynyk - because Browne’s glass jaw
Miller - tough call, but he’s a gutty fighter

Werdum - because Reem’s glass jaw

Nunes - I like Shevchenko, but don’t see her winning.
Ultimate Fighter Finales are one of the weakest kind of cards they do.
Main Event is good though, Gaethje is an undefeated minor league champ making his UFC debut. I hope he wins but Johnson is a step up in competition, his best previous foe was Melvin Guillard, whom he beat by split decision.
Yeah, and I missed this entire season, didn’t even know it was on, so I got no background on these names whatsoever, which is my main tool for making my weak picks :D

I don’t watch TUF anymore but it was called “Redemption”, all have been on TUF before.
Looks like the final between Lima and Taylor (co-main event) is the only fight on the card featuring fighters from the show.
Lima was in the UFC (he was a TUF runner up, losing in a final) before being cut a couple years ago.
And Lima’s brother is Douglas Lima, the Bellator 170 pound champ.

That was a really good fight between Klose and Diakase, surprised that there was no finish, but still very entertaining.
Glad Klose won. Diakase was the first UFC fighter to pose for Gay Times.
